Department of Physiology

The course is hosted by the Department of Medical Physiology and deals with the use of experimental animals in biomedical research and some basic instruments in Physiological research. The course focuses on animal experimentation and animal testing and the reasons animal are used in research. It will enable students understand the principles of using animals in research, the ethical views of animal research, and other alternatives available for research. In addition, some basic instrumentation knowledge will be taught to students registered for this course.
