This module aims at introducing students to the main facts and events of the pre-colonial,colonial and post-colonial history of Rwanda. It presents sources of the history of Rwanda, origin and expansion of Rwanda and civilization of ancient Rwanda. It analyzes main problems of Rwandan historiography and settlements. It discusses the causes and effects of European explorations and colonization on Rwanda. Finally, the module studies Rwanda after independence.
The course aims to provide to learners the ability of using the Information Technology tool (Computer) to access information, compute them and use the various techniques of it to overcome requirements of their daily activities (research, presentation of field's work, data analysis of various activities while making good reports to whom it may concern)
