This course introduces students to the development of modern, responsive, and interactive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Python, and the Django framework. It builds progressively from fundamental web technologies to the development of complete database-driven web applications.
Students begin by reviewing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to strengthen their understanding of web page structure, styling, and client-side interactivity. They then revisit UI/UX design principles and Bootstrap to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
The course subsequently introduces the fundamentals of Python programming, providing the programming foundation required for backend web development. Finally, students apply these skills using the Django framework to build dynamic web applications, covering concepts such as project and application structure, URLs, views, templates, forms, models, databases, authentication, and CRUD operations.
By the end of the course, students should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy basic interactive and database-driven web applications using Django, while applying appropriate UI/UX and web development principles.
