This module aims to help students to understand the process involved in identifying learners with learning difficulties to inform the planning and provision of appropriate support, thereby promoting learners' academic achievement and progress in schooling.
This module aims at taking student teachers through Deaf culture and hearing impairment, focusing on characteristics and assessing them. It will enable student teachers to understand procedures and processes of collecting, recording, and reporting information on learners’ status and, therefore, plan appropriate educational intervention and/or apply evaluation of their achievements and/or progress in school.
