This module aims to develop your understanding of the sources of Rwandan history, including oral, non-written, written, and audio-visual sources. It examines the challenges of Rwandan historiography and interpretation of historical evidence. The module explores prehistoric industries and early population settlement in Rwanda. It analyzes the origin and expansion of Rwanda over time. It also studies the civilisation of ancient Rwanda, focusing on its political, economic, social, religious, and artistic organization.
