Module Aim: (Short paragraph)
This module aims at introducing teacher trainees to the effective and efficient classes/schools practice where learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are taught. It provides to learners with a comprehensive, critical overview of the historical, theoretical and practical dimensions of special Needs and Inclusive Education. It presents concepts and approaches in learner-centred pedagogies and methodologies that are appropriate and deliberately tailored to the learners’ educational needs, competencies and context.

1. Welcome to this module SN80443: Assistive Technology for Learners with Special Educational Needs
Module Aim
This module aims at introducing the students to various types of assistive resources for people with SEN especially in educational setting. The students will specifically be introduced to the importance of the educational resources and how they are used to enhance teaching and learning; educational barriers for learners SEN; types and differences of assistive resources as well as making, using, and safe keeping of assistive resources.
