Summary of the storyboard of MIT III
This module is introduced to medical imaging undergraduate students.
The module aims to enhance their theoretical knowledge and practical application of different medical imaging modalities.
By the end of the module, students will be able to;
1. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the physics of nuclear medicine and the role of artificial intelligence in medical imaging.
- Understanding the Production of radionuclides used in nuclear medicine.
- Understand the Gamma camera and its application to the whole-body systems, PET, PET-CT, PET-MRI,
- Identify the need for quality management in diagnostic imaging
- Explain the differences between quality assurance, quality control, and quality management
- Understand the Generations of CT Scanners, and their role in today's medical imaging
The course will be delivered in a blended mode using online, face-to-face, simulation lab, and practical sessions in the hospital.
Students will have group discussions, quizzes, assignments, practical evaluation, and write a final project.
Introduction to Badminton
Badminton is a popular racket sport played by individuals (singles) or teams of two players (doubles). It is enjoyed worldwide for both recreation and competition, requiring a combination of speed, agility, coordination, and strategy.
The game is played using a racket to hit a shuttlecock over a net, with the aim of landing it in the opponent’s court and scoring points. Unlike many other racket sports, badminton involves quick reflexes and fast movements, making it one of the fastest sports in the world.
Badminton can be played indoors or outdoors, although competitive matches are usually played indoors to avoid the effect of wind on the shuttlecock. The game follows a set of rules that guide:
- Serving
- Scoring
- Court boundaries
- Faults
Understanding these rules is essential for fair and organized play.
This course of Fundamental Chemistry has as aim to give to all students, the essential basic theories relatives to Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry.

Welcome to the Cell Biology and Genetics module for Sports Science. It introduces key concepts and their relevance to sports performance, especially endurance and physical activity, while building knowledge, skills, and values for application in physical education.
This module provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of body systems in domestic animals. It introduces fundamental concepts that explain how animal bodies are organized, how different organs and systems operate, and how they interact to maintain life. The module also highlights practical applications in animal science, including animal nutrition, disease prevention, reproduction management, and livestock production. Comparative aspects across different domestic species (e.g., cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and poultry) are incorporated to enhance understanding.
This module aims to teach organic compounds comprising aliphatic compounds and aromatic compounds. The bulk of the course will consist in studying the properties and chemical reactions of the main functional groups of organic compounds, starting with their structures.
