This will be an introduction to the environmental aspects of architectural design and to an analysis of the form that landscapes take and the processes and ideals leading to those forms. Students will learn the relationship of the landscape to microclimates and building environments.
Brief Description
The course focuses on the application of designs and aesthetics to objects of function and everyday use. The students are led to understanding the field of industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, and interior design in relation to decorative and functional arts to be considered as applied arts.
In this course, students will be introduced to Management Principles, functions of management in relation to design practice, management process in design practice, and Management Techniques. This course is at the forefront of developing innovative approaches to work-based learning within Higher Education.
This course aims at enabling students gain practical experience in design, and helps them understand the thinking process - from problem to solution. Students will identify an area of need or a problem and will be schooled in professional skills and techniques and appropriate theory directed towards solving the identified problem. They will build up their project report in first semester, and eventually carry out the project in second semester.
The research journey involves ideation, inspiration and implementation. Learners will come up with prototypes which will be representative of their effort in solving the identified societal problem. There will be a series of marked presentations accompanying this noble cause; this is a systematic way of monitoring progress and the whole project will be crowned by a final exhibition. The student needs to engage in every activity related to the project because all the engagement is evaluated.
Thank you so much. I wish you well in your endeavours.

The purpose of this module is to introduce and correlate aspects of critical care and trauma nursing unique to special populations of patients. Learners will explore needs of critically ill pediatric, obstetrical cases, elderly, or mentally ill patients to provide most effective nursing care. Learners are expected to demonstrate successful completion of PALS certification by module completion.
The module is about pest management. The completion of the module will enable a learner to acquire skill for pest control with more focus on tropical crops.
The module gives an overview of plant and environment relationship as basis for students to understand the context of biotic and abiotic factors affecting crop production. Climate change and its effect on these interactions in the plant-environment system will be discussed. It is designed to provide learners with knowledge in plant-abiotic environment interaction, plant-pest interaction, and climate change and agriculture. The module focuses on lectures, self-studies, problem sets, field visits, seminars and presentations.
This module teaches the principles of abiotic and biotic stress resistance, advanced plant physiology, molecular biology and bioinformatics. The module aims at providing learners with knowledge about different sources of resistance and design screening procedures for discriminating among genotypes for resistance.

This course is about introduction on how to write programs using a high level programming language like c, pascal, ...
This module aims to give the student all the necessary knowledge and skills in data structures and algorithms using C++. Students will be specifically introduced to the advanced concept of algorithms, and common data structures like Arrays, Stack, Queue, linked list, Tree, Graphs, etc. Sorting and searching algorithms will also be discussed in this module. Various algorithms will be done in C++. The concepts of this module lay the foundation of both theoretical and practical computer science.

The feedback from students on this module will be obtained through the discussion forum around specific topics created on eLearning platform. We will set a google form to be filled anonymously by the students for the evaluation of the module. We will also use social media networking, chatting and emails groups. As the feedback on each unit is obtained every week, the feedback on the module will be obtained after the 12th week of teaching, meaning the last week of teaching. |
