Welcome to this collaborative online course. In this course, we will examine the nurses’ roles and responsibilities in the Covid-19 pandemic frontline. We will also analyze the effect of country-specific public policy and legislation in response to Covid-19 and compare them with other countries. During this course, nursing students will also be able to compare their experiences of nursing during the Covid-19 pandemic with colleagues from different countries.
Learning context can change very rapidly in education, this COIL project can help students to develop intercultural competencies and learn with and from nursing students from other countries. In this course, there will be nursing students participating from Rwanda, UK, Finland, Brazil, and Belgium.

The purpose of this module is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of specific issues in international finance. The module will cover the following broad areas: (i) the role of international financial markets; (ii) the financial problems faced by multinational firms when undertaking international trade and investments; and (iii) the financial strategies used by multinational firms to alleviate the problems posted by pricing and political risks. Emphasis will be placed on the use of various financial instruments to manage risk. Armed conflict continues to claim the loss of millions of human beings the world all over. Humanitarian Law rules exist with outstanding challenges for their execution. It is important that students understand both the material and procedural aspects of IHL.
This course has to cover a description of the role of trade in economic development, outlining the difference between internal trade and international trade, the role and implication of Governments in trade regulations and instruments beings used to control international trade.
Cases studies and experiences in African countries and beyond, will be provided along the chapters.

This module will help you to use the knowledge gained in previous courses such as assessment and planning considerations, for the management of patients in the intraoperative phase. During this module, the roles of the scrub nurse and circulating nurse will be explored in detail. In addition, the nurse will become proficient in the intraoperative management of surgical patients undergoing a variety of surgical interventions.
