LE80341 : Study of Major Literary Genres (ODEL)

 The course introduces learners to main literary genres such as prose fiction, nonfiction prose, poetry, and drama from various epochs and cultures of the world. The course is intended to help students understand issues raised from across a section of authors with particular interest in literary generic elements such as style, characters, plot, themes, setting and language use. Students will benefit from the course educational values from literary studies of various genres and apply them in the current local situations.
