FED1343 : Historical and Contemporary Themes in Education

This module aims at orienting learners with historical and contemporary developments in education. The learners will be able to trace the evolution of educational thought and practices since ancient times and relate them to contemporary educational and general development efforts in Rwanda and the rest of the world. The module further compares world educational systems and examines current and emerging national and international interventions that impact on educational systems in the world today.
