in one way, the inherited nation-state structure benefited Africa in the post colonial era because in some countries there are a couple things African societies are benefiting from due to the inherited nation state structure. however, at a bigger extent the inherited nation-state structure has not benefited Africa in the post colonial era because the inherited nation-state structure was build based on colonialist interest mainly for the exploitations of African minerals and resources observed by poor and lack of infrastructures in some African countries, high number of illiterates due to limited educated people by then as well as political instabilities as a result of colonization.
